Got off of work shot out to The Swin bridges. It was a nightmare people taking there sweet time loading there boats while us wanting to drop boats in had to wait 30+ minutes to even see the dock. Crazyness.
Come on people have your trailors ready if you have someone with you. It makes for a smoother night and less of a chance of people getting all worked up.
Now for the report. We got in the water and my buddy loaded the traps on the way out. We were in a rush so we just dropped pots at Hat and hung around and let them soak. They were in the water about a hour and a half and we pulled 8 keeper rock crab and 2 dungies we had to toss back. While we waited we dropped some pt. wilsons in the water and jigged for that slim chance chinook that might be trolling through. No such luck. We did nail 3 sharks on the lures while we waited on the pots.
All and all a fun night with some crab in the coolers.
Just as a side note. I spoke with the fish and wildlife officer while he was inspecting my catch. There out there and there watching. So do yourselves and other sportsmen a favor and stay leagel.
Keep fishen.

I am as well. I personally know a couple and they are hard working honest people who want the resource to continue to be avaliable to everyone. I am the same.

You got more Cajones than me, I stay the heck away from the ramps on the weekends. People have no idea what the phrase Boating Etiquette means. I can be in or out of the water in 5 mins flat, but then I teach who I go with how to drive the truck and launch the boat. It amazes me the people who just sit there at the dock waiting for the buddy to park the car, when they could go and stand off in the channel and wait till he parks and come back to the dock to pick him up. On the crabbing note, I was out during the week and caught about 10 keepers on an 8 hr soak with 4 traps. Not the greatest but great weather and easy launching. Had a buddy down south who claims someone robbed his traps.

lol ya this is my first season on the ocean. I'm not new to boating mind you but I am new to the salt water boating experience. I can tell you while we waited in line my buddy and I were prepping my boat. I actually used the timer on my phone to see how long it took me to launch and be out of the way. I clocked it at 4 minutes 48 seconds with me launching buying my ticket parking my truck and backing my boat out and being underway.
I wont be doing that again. Ya I baby sit my pots since all of my buddies have horror stories of there pots being stolen and or showing up while a guy was unloading his pots. NOT COOL!
Anyway good luck to everyone.
