I think I need to start earlier. Launched at Point Def @ 6am and fished till noon. We fished the slag pile until about 10 am and seen a few nice fish taken. None for us though. I had two takedowns but nothing came of it. We headed over to Dash Pt to get some natural AC in the boat. After we dropped there, someone on the pier had a fish on. Caused quite the commosion. It was funny to watch 50 people run up and down the pier to get a glipse at a fish. Then I saw his rod spring up. A loud AHHH!! followed by the inevidle F bomb. Too bad... they had it at the net, just could not get her in.

Fish checker had 11 fish for about 50 boats at Noon when we got back.
Next time I WILL come home with something. I was using green fasher and greenish hoochie tipped with hearring. Also tried cotton candy pink hoochies with nothing but a submerged crab pot line. If the name and address was on it, I would have made an attempt to get it back to the owner, but oh well.

Ealier in the morning at dash point they caught two 17lbs kings off the corner lol and yeah it is funny watching everyone move...but they had a net earlier...talked to some guys at the boat house at Point Def...and there were lots of fish taken three near 30 lbs...for kings i think launching just before sun up is good...starting shallow and then getting deeper as the day goes on...I have had success with green splatterback hoochies with skirts and purple haze...good luck out there!
