I decided to put the boat in at Edmonds and pay the 90 cents a foot for the overnight stay in the guest sites. I went out at around 5 and right after leaving the Marina I dropped the downrigger to 85" in about 120' of water. Started to head over to the dock and before I even got the I had a nice fish! It was 17# and I was not ready for it at all. I did not have the net ready and by the time I got everything ready I had to put the pole in the holder 2 times . I had to go grab the net and then I had to get it open and setup, then by the time I reeled it in the darn thing was wrapped around the rigger line. Well a little fooling around and she was in the net. Tough but fun. Then I ran over and dropped the pots off to soak overnight!
