Spent about a hour and a half down in the Hoodsport area with my stepdad and grandpa. It was a last minute trip. First off I didn't catch any fish. Mostly due to me running the boat and shooting the breeze with everyone. This is the first time we took the boat out after replacing the O2 censor and fuel filter so really we just wanted to get her in the water and work out whatever problems we might have. Thankfuly we had none. Saw alot of fish surfacing and jumping down by the hatchery. I counted about 12 that were caught in the 90 mins we were there.Then we decided to load up the boat and stop by the hatchery to see what kind of numbers were showing down there. Mostly pinks and a few kings. Can't wait til' I can spend some more time down there. On the way home we drove by and didn't stop at the Skok. You would of thought that they were giving away sacks of free money down there by the number of people and rigs parked on the side of the road. A freaking madhouse. Not my kind of scene. Tight lines ya'll
