After reading the reports about pink fishing in the sound. My friend Grant and I decided to make the trip up there on Friday at 2 a.m. from Vancouver.

We were in the water and fishing after dropping our crab pots 6:30 a.m. Let me tell you that you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle at the Mukilteo launch at low tide. After trolling north of the shipwreck for about 2 hours, we came away with on pink. We decided to go and check the crab pots and struck gold. We had 7 keepers! After resetting the pots it was back to trolling and for the next two hours not luck. No one was catching fish around us either. So we went back and checked the pot again and got 3 more keepers for our limit on crab.

We called it a day at noon. Went and go some lunch and get checked in at the hotel. We will be back bright and early tomorrow.
