This morning we got to the launch at 5 a.m. and it was about 6 a.m. before we started our troll south towards Edmond. Word around the area was that the school is further south. This time we started our troll just a little north of the shipwreck.

At 6:40 p.m. we got our first double at 45 feet on the downrigger. After a quick 10 minute circus and both fish in the boat, we reset the gear and continued on. 15 minutes later we got another double! At this point we were thinking what a morning and what did we do wrong yesterday...

We continued the run about 1 mile down and no luck. It was time to head back up and check the pots. After getting a couple of huge starfish and no keepers. It was back to trolling south again. This time we picked up two more pinks. With six fish in the boat and few lost, we decided to check our crab gear and relocate them a little further north near the the boat launch. Since we had better luck yesterday with the crab.

At 10:15 with the pots down we started our troll south again, this time near the shoreline next to the 10 houses. Within 5 minutes I had a pop of the clip at 50 feet and was done. It took another 10 minutes and Grant had his limit too. One last check of the pots and it was time to get off of the water. By this time the water was getting rough and we decided to call it a day at 11 a.m.
