My first report here and my first time fishing for pinks. Got to the redondo boat launch at about 6:00 am. There were boats in the water already and the pinks were jumping all over. We had decided to try for kings in the morning and pinks a little later so we rigged a green/silver dodger and a green squid. Had no luck with the kings even though we fished for them for about 2 1/2 hrs. at about 45 ft.with the down riggers. Switched to the pink buzz bombs and started getting hits and fish almost right away. Fished Redondo with the best luck. Dash Point with no luck. Browns Point with no luck and made the trip to the mouth of the Pyallup. Only saw one boat at the Puyallup and saw no action from the pinks there. Headed back to Redondo and got back into fish. Stayed there till about 1:30. Ended up with 2 limits for the boat but then hey there were only two of us fishing. Got to remember to bring camera next time.
