Fishing was fair this morning at the Hollow. The weather however was another story. Windy again and 4 to 5 foot waves made trolling miserable. The run from the Everett launch to the Hollow was over 30 minutes due to the waves which hindered my boat speed.

The good news is my buddy and I managed 1 silver and 6 pinks which was a nice change from last week’s outing. For those who limited in no time, the pinks are in for sure. For those of us who almost limited (most caught in a 3 hour window between 8:30 and 10:30), there seem to be a fair number of fish in the area but they don’t seem to be in there thick as in (you can’t keep em off). But I am pleased to have taken home some fish that are currently soaking in a brine to be smoked tomorrow afternoon.

We caught all of our fish just south of the ferry terminal. We did fish near the Shipwreck to start with no results which is why we moved north up in front of the Mukilteo Beach. 1 nice 10 oz fillet for the grill tonight with a salad which I am looking forward to here in a few hours.
