Headed out of Dagmars in the dark and set lines in at Mukilteo and started tolling south for Shipwreck. Trolled all the way down with no activity, sun started to come out so we set one downrigger down a bit deeper – 93 feet to be specific. Between shipwreck and picnic point we landed 2 on the one downrigger set at 93 feet. We were trolling south with an incoming tide when we landed those. The first was 9 pounds and the second was 11 pounds and it jumped on our line as soon as we got the line back down at the 93 foot mark. We did a U turn at picnic point and headed north into the tide tolling the same depth with nothing. Did another U turn right off of shipwreck to follow the same path. About the same place as the first fish we got another (10 pounds this time) and again with 93 feet on the downrigger. All of this was happening in about 360-400 feet of water. We were using Green flasher, Green Hooch and an Ace High Fly skirt under the Hooch. Returned to the same area Sunday and got one fish up to the boat from 93 feet, but lost it when it swam right into the back end of the boat. All in all, a good weekend. Saturday was great for us, but we didn’t hear a lot of others reporting such success. Sunday I only heard of one fish being netted.

You did good. This is the fishchecker report for Puget Sound. Click on Central to see Everett. Success rate has consistently run around 10%, one out of ten guys get a fish. I got skunked last Friday.
