We started the day at 7am, fished the lily pads for bass, no takers. J-Bone my partner decided to leave his favorite raddle jig in the pads. 8:am45 opened my first beer, and things got better! We headed out and fished with night crawlers, a couple of trout nothing too big in size. Big dry spell from about 10:00 till 1:00. It was so slow JB and I had a casting contest. I of course won. JB worked his guns rowing the boat, and tanned them. Later in the day the perch started biting on worms, again nothing big in size at all. All of the fish we caught were on the I believe east side of the lake? (Opposite of the resorts) Nadda happening on the other side at all. Everyone we talked to said that they were having sub-par luck also. Oh well I really like this lake, and have fished it for years. It will get better!
