Headed over to point no point with the lady Saturday. Got to PNP at around noon, I was hoping for silvers, but all I saw was pinks being caught. So I said what the heck might as well. They were boiling and rolling all over. The shore line was full of trout rods, I found it comical that nobody could get out to the fish, Everyone had 5 foot trout poles. And here I come with a 12 foot rod and a calcutta reel, Im casting a good 65 70 feet out, and just laying into em., Got two pinks In 30 minutes, Lots of hits and losses. ( damn barbless) Had one pig on that Im pretty sure was a king, or a silver, possibly a huge pink but she was stripping line.. Lost that one battle after about 2 mins, I was getting annoyed with the people around me throwing over my line and getting shoulder to shoulder with me, So i took my fish and left..My buddys went Sunday after we all got skunked at the skokomish, And they ended up hooking two silvers and 4 pinks.. THEY ARE COMING BOYS GET YOUR KIDS READY,.
