8/14/2011 5:26:00 PMI believe they are currently on the west side of Whidbey Island. I believe they will start to arrive in front of Mukilteo and the Shipwreck by the third week of this month. Just my guess based on what I've read so far and my experience in recent years. I can't wait for em to arrive. I took three weeks off (24 days total) beginning August 19th and will start going out regularly until they are in there nice and thick, then all bets are off. Love it! Thanks for your update.

8/14/2011 5:31:00 PMJust read a pink report for the Vashon area (poverty bay) never heard of it or been there, it's south of Des Moines or west of Federal Way and two guys limited in a few hours. So it sounds like they are in down south which is also good to know. Not sure if those fish will reach us in area 9 and 8-2 but I know the fish coming in from west Whidbey will come right to our door step.

8/14/2011 9:37:00 PMThe pinks are heavy in the straights and working their way down the west side of whidbey island right now. The best times to fish are the tide changes, preferably the high tides (2 hrs before- 2hrs after) which right now are 5am ish and 7 pm. Bush point is a good place to be by boat or from the bank. In a week or 2 it will be lights out!

8/16/2011 12:53:00 PMI think that they are still around the west side if Whidbey. I fished that same day in the Keystone Ferry area (The Pump House) and had luck, we had 3 on in 20 minutes.
