Is there any good to come from waking up at 3am to go fishing...well there is if it involves catching. I went out with F24 today and came home with my fist limit of pinks. But I caught many more...My arm hurt.
The tides were Low 4:44 AM 1.4 feet and High 11:52 AM 8.8 feet and it was going to be sunny and 83 out. We launched at 5am and went fishing for kings I caught 2 but someone made up this rule they have to be 22 inches. Well they were short of that so they went swimming away. Glen finally gave up on them and we went over by Vashon to try for pinks. I have to say it seems that these fish fight harder from the boat than from the dock at Dash Point. Could it be the height angle? Cami caught a few and was surprised at how hard they fought, too. We finished fishing about 10:30am. I caught most of the fish on a Wannafish A Lure DPS 5. I do a lot better at catching if I can’t see the fish. I just twitched that jig, a lot easier on the arm than a buzz bomb, in my opinion.
