Fished Humpy Hollow this morning, lines in the water at 6:00 am. Not a single bump for 3 hours and we saw no other fish caught. Maybe 60 boats in the general area between the ferry and the shipwreck. Ran over to Scatchet Head and joined 5 boats there and were interrupted by 2 shakers and saw 1 fish released on the side of a boat leading me to believe it was a wild Chinook. We returned to the Hollow for one more hour at the north end and had one other shaker. While at the Hollow we saw a few fish jump here and there and we also saw bait balls but if there were fish there they sure weren’t there in record numbers and they definitely weren’t feeding. Beautiful morning on the water, very poor fishing! Will fish the Snohomish River tomorrow. Hopefully we will see a better outcome. Oh, I almost forgot how much it sucked to see 11 commercial netters with their nets out forcing boaters to go around them. They were just north of the Mukilteo Ferry. God forbid the State of WA actually stop the commercial and tribal netters and crabbers from fishing Puget Sound so it can actually have a future. Amazing!
