My friend John and I decided to try for pinks this morning by casting spoons, buzz bombs, and jigs out near the shipwreck. I thought that maybe a new pod of fish may have moved in after the last batch moved up river after that last rain storm. And I was right! There were a pile of fish. We hooked the first one around 7am, and the last of our 2 limits at 2pm. We had a total of 14 fish hooked, with lots of strikes and misses as well. The fish were thick and I'll bet they will continue to stack up until the next rain. Get out there when you can before they're gone!

Thanks for the phone call following your trip. I look forward to seeing you Friday morning. I hope the fish actually hold at the hollow for at least a week.

Funny, I just looked at the reports tonight and thought the exact same thing, "isn't it odd that there are no 8-2 reports after 200 boats fished on such a hot fishing day.” Was there not one other WALakes.com member out there except you??? Hard to believe! I wish everyone would post their reports. See ya in the morning.
