First thing: Thanks to all of those who have submitted fishing reports here and information within the forum threads. A ton of the information was useful and certainly motivating.

Launched from Mukilteo about 6am. Began trolling a few minutes later, heading south. First fish in the boat by 6:25. The next few hours we trolled shallow and we trolled deep. We tried along the shore, out in the middle and all depths in between. Nada. Robyn's feet were getting cold so as I was giving her my socks, one of the rods broke from the rigger clip and started thumping! I grabbed the rod, reeled in a bit and, BAM, we got a double going on! Robyn grabbed that rod. I reeled mine in fast and just hoisted the pinko into the boat, thud onto the deck, grabbed the net and after a bit, netted Robyn's silver! Robyn grabbed the wheel and like the pro she is, began circling around while I readied the gear, damn near the exact spot, plotter, Bam, another fish on and in the boat. Repeated this several times till we reached near limit. Headed north a bit hoping we'd get back into them, Bam, 2 limits in the boat! Done by 10:30. We motored slowly back to the launch while I cleaned the bloody deck and put away some gear, pausing momentarily to say hello to a fellow WaLaker Catchalot. As we approached the ramp, I reallized I only had one sock on. LOL Robyn had the other one! LOL So, if you happen to see a guy with only one sock on while fishing, he might be just a little superstitious, trying to get some of that good mojo going again! LOL

Helpful note: I got stuck retrieving my boat, low tide, Mukilteo Ramp. I don't have 4x4. A guy at the ramp tied on and pulled me out of the gravel that has accumulated on the concrete. If someone happens to know him, I'd like to buy him lunch if he has time.(PM me) I just tried to leave the ramp quickly so others could utilize it. He's been launching there for 35 years and was well prepared.

Flashers, pink squid, 25-40' of cable out.

One correction...... It was Fetchitup7, WaLaker, that we saw on the water. Sorry about that Fetchitup7!

Thank You Guys! Best day on the Sound for me in years. I'm ok with chasing some of these reports! LOL

You'll get em next time Mike! Hope to see you then.

Forgot to mention, we saw seals, sealions, a pod of killer whales, working the fish. The killer whales just came right at us and under our boat as we were nearly stationary, they were heading north with the determination to get somewhere quickly.
