Together, with fishy1968 from the site, left Everett launch around 6:30 and after droping the crab pots, we headed to East Possesion and after an hour of no luck decided to join the 5-6 boats fishing the West side of the bar. As soon as we got there I droped my line all the way down to the bottom in 90 feet and fish on... A 12# healthy silver in the boat. After no more than 20 minutes my partner hooked one that does not want to come up to the surfuce. Finally the fish is up, nice blackmouth with extra fin. Back in the water it goes. After that non stop action with 12~16" jacks. We even got a huge dog fish,havent seen one so large one before. The jacks are so thick right now they jump on your lure and decrease your chance to hook something else. On the way back we pulled out limits of crab, large ones. Yummy. Over all a not so bad day considering the slow fishing right now. Tight lines.
