I would say this morning was an expierence to say the least. Got there at 6 10 finally got the boat in the water at 620. I would say at least 35 boats in the water, My gramps and i kind of figured that to avoid line tangle and all the other boaters we head in the direction of des moines rather than towards dash point. Literally no one was in that direction. So lines in the water gramps at 50ft with flasher and hering, i was at 29ft with flasher and spoon. This is no joke for the next 4 hours we had fish on constantly ranging form 7inchs, up 14inchs literally just cleaned out our bait, they all looked to be last years smolts. I did mangage to get one 4 1/2 lb silver Nice fish, 22inchs long, no sea lice. First decent size salmon in almost 4 years. Overall after running out of bait and other things to do later that day we called quits, one fish in the boat, lots and lots of shakers. Kept us busy at least, and ever single little guy swam away, no dead ones today. Lots and lots of fish on the fish finder, first groupings all morning were 19ft to 31 ft and the others were 49ft to 67ft all morning in 90-125ft of water.
