Went down to fish the mouth of Chambers Creek on Saturday morning on the incoming tide. Low tide was at 6:30 - I started at 9:00. I was going to fish from my kayak but the wind was blowing pretty good so I bagged it and grabbed my spinning rod and some lures. Threw out a Blue Fox with the egg pattern in the middle and a little Smelly Jelly. Cast for a while and nothing. Changed lures a few times - Kastmaster/Little Cleo. Lots of other people but not combat fishing by any means. Lots of Buzz Bombs being thrown and a few other items and no fish taken. I didn't see anyone get a thing. There were a couple small boats out there casting - no nets yet.
Does anyone know how to figure out the net schedule at Chambers Creek? I know the Honey Bucket is set up and I see boats so it's only a matter of time before they start. Can a person go and fish right at the mouth when they net or will they get all pissed off? I would like to fish down there again but don't want to drive down there if there's nets and crap all over...
