So in getting ready for the Edmonds coho derby I decided to rent a slip that was available at the marina and couldn't resist taking a picture of my 'little boat' nestled among the larger vessels docked there! lol

I am very unfamiliar with this area so wanted to scout it out before taking my wife out tomorrow for the derby so my buddy and I headed to an area I thought my produce a strike or 2. I was very surprised that no sooner did I get the 1st rod down it started bouncing wildly and I knew it was game on!! Landed a nice 9lb buck and ended up with another smaller fish and losing a nice one at the boat due to my ignorance at not changing out the leader on the hootchie that nailed the first coho so it broke of at the trailer hook!! darn! lesson learned! All fished hooked on prizm flasher with white polka dot hootchie with hand tied leader with 3 green beads between hooks and big river 4/0 hooks.
