Well, Crap...about the time I figured I had these coho dialed in...they changed their number! This report will serve two purposes...first to report my miserable performance. The second purpose will become evident over the next day or two.
My adult son and I joined 200-300 of our closest friends when we launched at Everett at 0600. First my apologies to anybody who I inadvertently pulled ahead of when I went down the right hand lane to launch...I'd never been there when the boats were lined up back to Marine Dr. and during the week guys routinely use the right lane to prep for launch, then just drive to the launch from there. Won't happen again. With Harbor Officers on duty things went smoothly, however, and I didn't get shot at. Headed to Mukilteo where we dropped the gear and trolled toward Shipwreck, ran back and trolled again, drove in circles around Shipwreck area marking fish and seeing 6 or 10 fish caught...none of them by us. Speed was right, gear was right, troll direction was right, MoJo wasn't. I've got a couple items with the gear/boat I plan to address yet.
If anybody else (estimated 400 boats between Mukilteo and Shipwreck) had a bad day, I just didn't want you to think you were the only one. If I WAS the only one...then Double Crap!
