Great day on the water smooth sees good company and loots of fish. Made reservations Tuesday morning for a bottom fishing trip out of Westport as the weather report looked good. We headed north for about one hour and targeted sole for bait for the Lings. After we made a short run to a rock pile we limited the boat six fishing plus fish for captain and deck hand. Then we switched gear light tackle for our limits of Rock fish. I also hooked a nice king on the light tackle what a blast .Captain said have fun with him and I did, after a ten minute battle I had him next to the boat and captain tried to shake him free he made one more run and we parted company as he broke free. Estimated weight was ten or twelve pounds Also a twenty five pound halibut was caught and released . One gentleman on board was ninety two years old ,he also caught the three biggest Lings big one being sixteen pounds The weather .water and fishing could not have been better.
