Hit up Grayland with my wife, son, and in-laws for some weekend razor clam digging. It was one of the sunniest, greatest days that I have ever had at the ocean. Had to put sun screen on - FINALLY!!! Anyway, we started at 9:00AM and were done by 9:30. Lots of shows all over the place and lots of other people having a great time. I don't think I saw a person or dog that wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It was also my son Quincy's first of many clam digs to come. He couldn't dig any holes but he offered moral support.
We ended up taking my in-laws share as well so we have clams coming out of our ears. I started cleaning them at 9:30 last night and was done at 11:45. Pain in the ass but well worth it. We are trying razor clam ceviche tonight for the first time. If it is good - I will post the recipe.
Easter dinner was King salmon on the deck! No ham, no lamb, just straight up salmon squeaking bewtween the teeth!
