Hit Westport at five AM quit busy at the boat launch with expectations running high. Boat was in the water buy five thirty bar crossing was smooth and we headed north to the casino area started in sixty feet of water lots of jelly fish so you had to work hard to keep your bait clear. Trolled that area for several hours at different depths not a bite we made several moves heading north and tried different depths out to 150 feet picked up one nice silver promptly released as this was a King only season but fun to catch and a break in the monotony. I had heard there was a good bite on the bar during the flood yesterday at that point we were 22 miles north nice run back with smooth sees when we went buy the north jetty we could see all the boats working the south side .There was a party going on eight charter boats and a lot of private boats in a small area. We joined the party and I was hooked up to a nice kink in short order one more undersized king later on . So it was a nice day on the water but ferry slow fishing
