I took both of my sons out to do some shoreline fishing. We we really not out to do some serious fishing. It was lesson time for my sons. We did land a dozen or so nice sized perch. I did have a chance to fish some structure about 20 yds out near the launch. I did get several territorial type strikes and hooked a decent LMB which I released. She was somewhat full. The water temp has risen 12 degrees in the past week. The bass appear to be going into prespawn. The water level is also the highest I have seen it in a long time. Several boats came in which had been fishing for rainbows. They all caught at least one or two. Most of them were fishing extremely shallow though. I am fishing this lake again on Saturday with a friend of mine for some serious fishing.. I will let you all know.
