After last Sunday's brutal adventure, I had another chance to get my 7yo daughter on her first salmon. Got up at 3:45am and got to the beach at 4:50. A few guys already there, so found a spot to drop our gear and wait for daylight. Started casting about ten after five. People started trickling in around 5:30 and pretty soon we moved down the beach as we were getting crowded out of our spot. Fished until 10:30am and only saw two fish caught between about 20 people during that whole time. Not so much as a bump on our Buzz Bombs. Lots of lettuce in the water and loads of jelly fish. Didn't see any of the boats trolling by having any luck either. After five hours of casting that Buzz Bomb my arm had had enough, so we headed home empty handed again.
