Don and I launched my boat at Redondo yesterday at 6:30 am. It was high tide at 5:30 am so I didn’t expect it to be very good. We fished in front for Redondo for a few hours with no luck so we went south to Browns Point in time for the slack tide change at 11:45 am. At 12:15 Don caught the first Humpy a nice five pound buck just on the south side of Browns Pt. then I caught the next 3 Humpies and Don the last one for a total of 5 in the boat. I caught one that was a 6.5 pound buck which was the biggest pink salmon I have ever caught. The wind and chop picked up big time about 2:00 pm so we quit and headed back to Redondo. A good day but we had to work for them.
