Went on my first tuna hunt yesterday. Absolutely fabulous. Started 30 miles out with nothing, but at 40 miles we got into them. First stop with live bait we boated 8 (or so). Schools seemed to come and go so we had to go back on the hunt to find them, but at the end of the day we had the boat's fish boxes full--47 fish!!
It sure was a fun adventure, flat water, lots of fish, signings of whales, porpoise, & fur seals. My arms are draggin' today and a busy weekend of fish processing!

We went out with all river&saltwater charter. Great guys and great boat-had us to the fish in under 2 hours

That would be Mark Coleman's "All Washington Fishing" charter. He does a great job for his clients and has helped me out in my tuna fishing endeavors.
It's an absolute blast to get those bloody brutes into the boat for a chat! Ha Ha! I love that fishery!
