I went crabbing with a buddy out of Boston Harbor from about 1:00-3:30. The trip was basically to keep my boat motor active. Only took out two pots, and did four pulls total. I wasn't really expecting to catch much, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised with two really big Dungeness (which I've never caught out of Boston before) and a load of red rock crab. We kept six red rocks, all really nice specimens, and threw back a few. All keeper crab came from about 60 feet of water, on a pink salmon carcass. Must of been the ticket, they completely annihilated it (a much fresher steelhead was in our other pot and was barely touched). Beautiful, wonderful day, and I think I have the gout now! Ha ha.
