Launched out of Shilshole around 1000, kicked out to Pilot Point. Trying to catch the tide change, quite a few boats, around 15, they also must have heard the rumor!! Saw 1 shaker in 2 hours, headed out to Point No Point, also about 15 boats, saw 1 nice blackmouth brought up and 1 shaker. About 1300, my clip is off, finally!! Thought this was a small shaker, not much fight, nosed in at 24", happy, depth was about 133'. About 45 minute later, fish on again, a little better fighter, came in at 26", depth was about 165'. Actually feeling fortunate, saw seals all over the place, at 1 time there was 6 within 30 yards of us. My brother & I called it a day around 1430,..Got back to his place, I gave him 1 fish, he fillet them both, while I scrubbed the boat down,...good day!!
