7/7/2014 7:15:00 PMWe had a dozen doubles the 3rd, 8 doubles the 4th and just a couple doubles the 5th since we tried a different area trying to locate larger fish.
Ha ha... this area can be and is at times, much better! It's about a 20 mile run from the ramp... Watch the weather!

1+ Tough Fishing - No Fish, No Luck!
2+ Poor Fishing - Caught a few but really had to work at it.
3+ Average Day - Caught some fish, had some fun.
4+ Very Good Day Fishing - Caught fish consistently and had a real good time.
5+ Wow! What a Great Day - Lots of fish - Great memories!
I stand by the 3, average day. Day 3 of fishing was slower, still great, but slower. Also, nooks must be 24"+ before retention....as well as silvers must be clipped and 16" before retention. So you have to catch a few this time of year before retention of a limit is possible. Who wants to keep a 16" silver, not me, gotta bust 20" even this time of year unless fishing is slow and you just want off of some rough water.
We had one, must have been a 5' free fall, coming off the top of a swell/wave.... the fall doesn't hurt, it's the landing. That "sierra hotel india tango" hurts! LOL
