Dropped the gear, flasher and squid with a herring fillet, at the Shipwreck about 6:30AM, quit at 11.. Too early for Silvers but thought I'd give it a shot mostly to check on my boat which I keep at the Everett Marina. I was going to run over to the west side of Possession. But it looked foggy over there so I stayed around the Shipwreck and into Browns Bay. There were 15-20 other boats trolling around. Only saw one fish taken right in front of the Wreck.

The last few years there has always been a big bull Sea Lion hanging out around Picnic Pt. He is there already and I saw him splash around couple times like he had a fish. Also saw a fairly large group of Porpoise in the same area. So the stage is set and we need some nice hard rain for a few days.

I was on the west side of Possession at about 6;45 and fog rolled in for about 5 minutes and then was gone. Fished the area until 10:00 with about 30 other boats and did not see one fish caught; however we did get one about 4#. Then went to the east side and was there and hour and then at the shipwreck for and hour and quit around noon. Fish checker at Everett said he saw only one other Coho and ours was bigger. I won't go back out until September 1st.
