Good this morning for me and my friend Pat. Dropped the gear about 2 miles north of the Wreck, trolled with the out tide, big tide, over 9 feet of tide change, pretty shallow 150-200 feet, 60-70 feet on the DR. 4.0mph on the GPS. Got 3 by 9:30, by that time we were down past Picnic Pt, so turned around and trolled back north against the tide, nada. About 11 we ran back up to where we started, trolling south with the tide, got the 4th one in minutes. Moral of the story, better to troll with the tide particularly when it is a big tide change. I've been doing good fishing more shallow than the fleet and keep your speed up well above 3mph..

Always troll with the tide or across! Never against!

Nice Barchaser! What do you think--are they in for good or just another passing phase? I want to go Saturday but my kids will make me give then a no-skunk guarantee.
