Took my Father in law to the bait house on Possession beach to try fishing for coho with live bait under a float.we got there early around 6:00am and was shown the way to rig everything up from a nice guy who works there.we saw 8 fish landed and 4 to 5 more get off in four hours we were there.I missed one take down but my Father in law caught a nice one around four lbs.so at least he got one! we then drove down to Bush Pt. to check things out.25-30 people on the beach most with buzz bombs. saw 6 fish caught in an hour. we tried our luck there but no dice.No fish for me but learned some things about shore fishing for coho. My Father in law has Parkinson's so fishing on the beach was great for him! no wading in a river or walking down slippery trails to effect his balance.he had a great time and I was so happy he caught a nice silver! We had An awesome day for sure.

Thanks for the report and good job getting the FIL on a fish. Did the same thing in Seward, AK 3 days after I got married 38 years ago last month! Small raft trolling all day in the rain, but Leo wouldn't quit! Got him 5 coho up to 15# over 2 days and had to freeze one of them whole, so he could take it home to show his buddies. Good memories for sure.
