Picked up artic fox in the dark and headed for Everett marina. We had lines in the water before 7:00 to catch the tail end of the out going tide. Didn't mark to many fish and continued to work our way toward east side possession bar. When we got near the bar fish began to show on the lowerance. Worked the 50 foot area and had some drive bys around 9:30. Buddy gets a hit and has it on very briefly. Within 10 seconds of him getting a hit my line releases from the clip and it is fish on. After a short fight the net was slid under a nice 6.3 lbs female. Had a a few more hits and then buddy gets a good hit that sticks. He works it like a pro and I slide the net under his 7.3 lbs buck. I sure like my troll master electronic throttle control on my yamaha kicker. After getting the fish on I just press the idle button and the kicker drops to idle speed and after netting press it again and we are back to our troll speed. Lots of boats working possession but really didn't see any nets out except our. Fish checker at the dock said 1 fish per boat.
