Headed to my buddies house in Tulalip last night and stayed so I could wake up and hit the incoming tide early in the morning. When I got out there I noticed lots of fish surfacing so I threw on my "crippled herring" 1/4oz jig. Scented that with dick nite herring gel. Started working the surface which produced a small 10 inch fish. 30 min after with no action I let the jig sink to the bottom and worked my way up and that was the ticket. Proceeded to catch 4 more fish with the biggest at 16inches. All fished released and barb on the hook was clipped. I snapped a quick pic of the last fish! There were a lot of sea otters out chasing the trout around. Some were lucky enough to catch one. Anyways, Happy 4th of July. Be safe and tight lines!
