Fished for 4 days, nice water most days. Wind in the afternoons as usual. Some kings caught around us, but not a lot.
We hooked up a couple but lost them to a "long line release".

Tons of pinks, running about 5-7 lbs. had two friends come over for a day. They have never been salmon fishing so it was pinks on!. We had 4 limits (16 fish) in about 2 hours. best pink spot was straight out in front of the bay in 200" water.
Pinks hit anything was put in the water, some even grabbed them as we were trying to attach the line to the downrigger clip.

Also found a great spot for coho, straight off the sekiu river in 350-400' water, down 75'.

Overall we caught and released OVER 100 salmon on our way to limits.

Was a great trip...plus the new owner of the resort are doing a fantastic job and we look forward to the changes!

p.s. the have ethanol free fuel at the resort and docks! (bit rough on the price $4/gal...but remember where you are!)

nice report and about the resort. I pay $4.59 a gallon for it in Puyallup so $4 is a good price.

Awesome fishing, I am headed there in a little over a week. Is it still 2 pinks per angler, or when you mentioned your 16 fish for 4 anglers, it was 2 coho and 2 pinks per? What size have the coho been this year? Thanks for the report but it has made it awful to focus on work.
