8/4/2015 11:34:00 PMTo UNC1985: do you also carb in that area? We hit the pier occasionally at Kayak Point and sometimes a friend's boat trolling for salmon. As soon as there's a break in this latest heat wave, it's back to KP for some more crabbing and fishing.

8/5/2015 5:37:00 AMFirst week of September is when we have done well there past years, but the fish are running 3 weeks earlier than usual. Counts at Evt were over 500 Sunday and that usually doesn't happen until 3rd week in August. If this pattern continues, Aug 15-16 should be good around Kayak.

8/5/2015 8:11:00 PMAgreed..Kayak always puts out last. Usually lots of fish when they final show up in that area. Head south around a couple bays from the park and you might hit em a bit early, Tulare beach area.
