Left Thursday after work and drove all night and launched the boat at 0345 Friday morning. I haven't been to Sekiu in 6 years and was working off of vague memories and recent posts. We stayed in relatively close trying for chinook. We had great consistent action all 4 days, but the fish were 99% wild. Multiple mid to high teen chinook, and one that was definitely over 20#s. Only caught one hatchery coho out of about 50 coho caught. Tons of shaker chinook but managed to average 3-5 keeper chinook per day that ranged from 4#s to the biggest keeper being 14#s. It was a great trip with a bunch of crazy things happening like a coho just slamming a lure that was literally skipping on the surface 3 feet from the side of the boat.
not alot of meat for the freezer but the fishing was fantastic, I can't wait for next year.
