8/17/2015 5:13:00 PMYou might be reading it wrong even though you are quoting it correctly. Take a look at a map and draw a line from Meadow Point across Shilshole Bay to West Point. Meadow Point is in the north part of Golden Gardens Park, but there is more park to the north and east of it and fishing from shore is OK there. Once you round the point you are no longer in Shilshole Bay. BTW, this imaginary line is also how far out boats, kayaks, paddle boards, etc need to go away from shore before they can fish.
