I was able to get away for a few hours today to fish. I launched out of Mukilteo at 2:30 pm and headed to the east side of Possession in about 500 feet of water. After getting everything clipped into the downrigger, I figured I would try around 70' deep. It was only about 5 minutes before the line released and it was fish on. When it got to the boat, there were three others following alongside the one I hooked. After netting it and bleeding, I reset and wondered if the fishing was going to be hot for the rest of the day. It took another 35 minutes before I got my second fish on. Reset the gear again, but the next fish didn't come for about 45 minutes. After the third fish, I tried for a while longer, but didn't get any hits. It was a little bit bumpy on the water today, but then calmed down for a while. Once the wind died down though, it saw getting a bit hot out there. I was using a white flasher with a mini pink squid. The pink squid also had a spinner blade on the front.
