Launched out of Edmonds @ 0630, fished in front of the pier for about 2 hours, brought up 3 before 7, 1 small pink, released, and 2 silvers, smaller one (about 17") released, keeper about 22". Trolled towards our crabpots about 1 mile north of ferry terminal, when my pole got slammed, fought with it for about 10 seconds then gone, but boy, it fought, dove down, probable king, but will never know. Made about 10 passes and had about 7 hits, brought up 4. Trolling in front of "Spanish House". Called it day, started trolling back just north of the ferry lanes when poles gets off the clip, nice fighter, fat!! When cleaning the fish, it had 6 herring/shiners in it. Using a Red Racer flasher with a white squid, 36" leader was the ticket!! Depth between 50'-75',...also had 4 crabs, not a bad day,...
