Had the privilege to go out on my boss's boat! Had a bad start to the day, couldn't find car keys in the morning so made change of plans and headed towards mukilteo. On our way there we stop at 7eleven to grab a few things when someone notified us the boat launch was closed. What a waste of a good morning!! Finally launched out of Everett and headed towards mukilteo. Had one fish each within the first ten minutes of trolling. Figure might be a good but boy was I wrong. Kept having to take seaweed off my gear constantly and to make things worse my boss accidentally lost a DR ball bringing it up the electric DR. That basically ruined our day. He landed a decent cookie cutter and I got a brute of a buck! If it was the day before and have I entered the derby that might have took first place! Also fish check took the head saying it was tagged but not a clipped fish. Weird!
