Launched out of Everett at 7 (slept in) and had my line down by 7:30 North of Possession Point. Sun was starting to show so I went with a hot spot purple haze flasher and uv purple haze hoochie with herring strip and sent it down to 40ft. Got dialed in to about 4mph and the line pops out of the release and im into my first fish. She puts up a short fight and I managed to get her in the net (not easy fishing solo). Ended up being right around 4lbs. Marked the spot and made a few more passes and ended up loosing 2 more in the same area. Also tried the east side of the bar and mukilteo on the way back with no other bites. I must have maked hundreds of fish throughout the day, but they just wouldnt bite. Some areas were so stacked I thought for sure id get into something. Will try again tomorrow.
