Went out of Edmonds twice this weekend, and both trips really slow. Saturday fished right in front of the marina for a couple hours with one strike. Moved to Pilot Point and nothing happening. Moved in with the hordes on east possession and finally picked up a small one down 80 feet, red racer flasher, purple haze squid. Saw two other fish caught. Saw a whale though, that was something!
Sunday headed straight to east possession. Nothing. Varied depth not a peep of activity. Moved to shipwreck and switched one rod out to a cop car Coho Killer (thinking we'd get a shaker and get the skunk off) and finally picked up a little guy. Saw two other fish caught. Decided just to keep heading south. Right before we were going to pick up the gear we hooked a decent sized fish (picture) also on the Coho Killer 120 feet down. We talked to the KIRO 710 boat and they did a little better, but not much.
