We decided to try crabbing in front of the oil docks by the Mukilteo ferry. There were a lot of pots out from the ferry to the everett waterfront. They mostly looked like tribal bouys and there were lots of tribal boats at the Mukilteo launch. We stayed from about 10am to 4pm, pulling the pots twice. We would only get maybe one keeper per pot and then a few other small crabs each time. This is the same spots earlier in the summer where we could get a limit or more per pot. I haven't crabbed much during the winter season so might try a few different spots I haven't tried in a while elsewhere. On a side note, the kids enjoyed passing the time watching the deconstruction of the oil docks though.
