I launched out of Kingston around 7:30am. I started out fishing the West side of Possission and was catching several shakers - probably about 12 before hooking into a nice Coho. Caught it at 45' on the wire in about 150' of water, using a green haze flasher with a GoldStar Kingfisher green/blue spoon(it's one of the new colors this year) with a piece of herring tail on the hook.
The chop started picking up, so I headed back into area 10 and fished just outside of the ferry dock going into Kingston. Hooked one nice fish, but did the long line release on that one. Got the blackmouth on a green spatter back coho killer, again around the 45' marker on the downrigger. Had my two fish, so headed in for the day. The fish counter lady at the dock said they were averaging 1 fish per person, so I felt good bringing in my two.
One fun picture for you guys too, on my way home I saw this truck....thought about docking up to the side of it and tieing off to his truck bed cleats!
