Fished Monday to Wed morning.
Monday fished the caves area morning and evening. Fishing was dead. We had nothing and only saw one netted. Fish checker said it was vary slow with only a few digging one or two out. In the afternoon went to area 4 for rock fish and only got one (not a black or blue) Did pick up a just legal ling.
Tue morning had 2 shakers and one that didn't get to the boat that would have big enough. Afternoon same story in area 4 only no ling. Evening finally got a legal king and a wild. I would still say it was dead, I was not seeing nets out on other boats.
Wed. morning till around 8:00 one shaker and I saw one other person with a shaker. Other people were leaving due to poor fishing. Fish checker said that they are getting them just out side the straits, so they should be in any day.

Masons is reporting limits by just about everybody. That's why I like this web site so much, you get to hear the true story instead of depending on resort owners or charter boat companies that are trying to enhance business. We fished Sekiu last year and kept hearing" the fish should be here any day now", we were there two weeks and struggled every day for Kings. Thank god for pinks. Well good luck and I always enjoy reading your reports.
