So my cousin and i hit the sno around 6:30 to try our luck at some pinks. Fished until 8:30. Been hearing some decent reports. well we got skunked. so did about 30 other people there. we saw lots of fish rolling and jumping. only saw one person hook up, he was on the other side of the river. We fished from shore by 522. I started off with a pink buzz bomb and he used a white and pink dick nite. I later switched over to a gold and silver dick nite. I got two hits, one on the buzz bomb and one on the dick nite. Fish were in the middle of the river and it was hard casting out that far.

We did see a deer swimming down the river. Crazy sight, didn't know what it was at first till it got close, it got out of the water about 20 yards from us. A beaver also surfaced 5 feet to my left in a bush. We eyed one another for a couple minutes then after he took a couple chomps out of the bush he took off. Its amazing to see so much wildlife.

I'll be back again, hopefully we'll hook into some next time. a week to two weeks and the river will be full of fish.
