This is my first time posting a report and I'd just like to share my first time experience fishing the Spokane Street Bridge. I was very surprised that the bridge was not packed shoulder to shoulder. For the three days I was fishing there. I personally wouldn't say that you had to be in any particular part of the bridge to catch more fish. I pretty much fished all along the bridge and easily caught my limit and then some in any spot. I used a variety of setups (i.e. pink buzz bomb, pink hoochie, pink dick nite, pink spoons, etc..) but my favorite was jigging the pink hoochie. Judging by everyone else on the bridge, it seem to be their favorite too. Judging the speed and action of the jig was very important in producing the most hits. I watched many anglers get frustrated that they weren't getting any hits when they were using the same setup. I offered my tips and they seem to workout for most people. I would say that 80% of the people fishing on the bridge caught their limit in a few hours. The schools were thick most of the day and every few hours the schools would be thick enough to cover the top of the water 15 feet out from the bridge. I would say that it seem there were more snags that legit hookups and plenty of convincing to those who decided to keep their snags that it was unwise and illegal... hehe... but not to worry, the game warden was out in full force most of the three days. Even some undercover on a few days.
Anyways, I had a blast and I hear we haven't even peaked yet.
Thanks for reading... Tight lines for everyone!

P.S. For that one guy fishing for Salmon in a kayak and tipped over upside down. I hope you think twice next time about heading out alone fishing for Salmon in a kayak. There might not be other boats there next time to pluck your sinking kayak out of the water.
